Case Study

TwoPir Consulting took our requirements and completed the Scope with little direction after initial calls to discuss our needs. Worked independently with updates and completed our AOP integration on time and budget. Did testing and implementation without any issues. Great to work with.

Challenges:

  • The client currently accepts online payments through a webpage that is not integrated with Salesforce. Customers make online payments using this web form and process credit card transactions online via Authorize.net.
  • Salesforce is responsible for generating invoices and sending details to customers once payment has been made. However, due to the lack of integration between the two systems, there is a significant amount of manual work for the client.
  • Transaction and invoice receipts need to be manually updated in Salesforce, resulting in inefficiency. Therefore, automation is necessary to streamline the creation of transaction details within Salesforce.

Solution:

  • A Force.com site page has been developed featuring authentication and a payment form.
  • Upon order confirmation, customers receive a payment link.
  • They must authenticate themselves before proceeding with the payment.
  • The payment flow is facilitated through integration with Authorize.net.
  • Upon receipt of payment, invoice records are updated within Salesforce.
  • Additionally, a merchant interface is provided for managing transactions, configuring account settings, and viewing account statements.
  • The interface boasts an intuitive and user-friendly design, ensuring ease of navigation and workflow.

Results:

  • Salesforce now serves as the sole source of truth for the entire order and billing processing flow.
  • This consolidation leads to cost savings as only one system needs to be maintained and tracked.
  • Data security and privacy are guaranteed throughout the entire process.
  • Complete automation eliminates the possibility of human error.
  • Furthermore, the automation significantly saves time by streamlining previously manual tasks, now accomplished with a single click.
