  • In the Channels & Campaigns section of the main navigation, select Email > Open Time Item Templates.
  • Select the unpublished open-time item template.
  • If you want to make changes, click Edit. Otherwise, click Publish.

    The template’s state is “Publishing” while Personalization generates images for all products in your catalog.When image generation is complete, Personalization publishes your open time item template, and it’s ready to use in Open Time Email campaigns.

Creating an Open Time Email campaign generates a block of HTML code that you use in your existing email marketing service to add personalized content and recommendations for each recipient.

How to Export a Segment to Journey Builder

  • From the main navigation, select User Segments | User Segments.
  • Double-click the segment you want to export.
  • Click the Setup tab.
  • Select Sync to Other Systems | AddToJourneyBuilderOnJoin.
    The Segment Sync Setup dialog appears.
  • Select your journey entry source from the Journey API Event dropdown.
  • From the Marketing Cloud Contact Key dropdown, select an identifier that contains the appropriate consent information in Marketing Cloud.
  • From the Email Address dropdown, select an identifier.
  • Select Enable.
  • Click Save.
  • In User Segments, click Save to save any segment changes.
