Mapped the Image Workflow Before Writing a Single Line of Code
We audited how operations team uploaded, stored, and manually reviewed images inside Salesforce — identifying the exact points where pairing broke down and context was lost. This gap analysis became the specification for the LWC component architecture.
Designed the Pairing Logic Before Building the UI
We defined the tag taxonomy (Before / After) and date-sequencing rules that would drive automatic image matching — ensuring the pairing logic was robust before any UI work began. We also mapped the SharinPix ↔ Salesforce record data contract to avoid integration surprises downstream.
Built the Lightning Web Component with Side-by-Side Layout and Navigation
We developed the LWC to display Before (left) and After (right) images side by side on the Salesforce record page, with all contextual metadata visible inline. We implemented the Previous / Next navigation controls and paired-set counter so reviewers always know where they are across multi-image records.
Validated Pairing Accuracy Across All Existing Image Records
We ran the pairing algorithm against full library of existing image records — correcting tag metadata, resolving sequencing edge cases, and confirming every Before–After pair resolved correctly. We tested navigation across records with varying image set counts (1–14 pairs) before signing off.
Deployed to Production and Handed Off a Self-Sufficient Operations Team
We deployed the component to Salesforce production org, embedded it on the relevant record page layouts, and ran focused training so the operations team could manage tagging and image uploads independently. The team needed no ongoing Twopir support to add new image sets after go-live.
